Mark D. Barons
Barons Custom Homes was started by Mark D. Barons over 40 years ago. A lifelong New Englander, with a background in Engineering and Construction Management, Mark D. Barons is one of the most sought after residential builders in the Boston area. Mark has built beautiful, high-end homes in Boston and the surrounding areas, including historic Louisburg Square, the Boston waterfront, and upscale west suburban towns such as Lexington, Concord, Winchester and Belmont.
Mark has a long-standing relationship with his team of engineers, architects, interior designers and tradesmen. Together, they bring the highest quality construction and superior craftsmanship to all Barons Custom Homes. Using the latest in innovations and technology, they present the most energy efficient home possible, while keeping a keen eye on the aesthetics of every room.
Mark’s clients appreciate his integrity and desire for excellence. He is well known for getting to know their lifestyle needs, and taste. He specializes in building custom homes from the ground up, working closely with his clients to select finishing touches to create the perfect home.
Mark has lived in Lexington, MA for nearly 55 years. He has been very active in the community serving as a Town Meeting Member, Board Member of the Council on Aging, Lexington Little League and others. Additionally, he has worked with Habitat for Humanity, volunteered as a coach for more than 20 years and has been an active member of many high school booster clubs. He’s been married to his wife, Peggy for more than 35 years and together they have raised four children and are now enjoying their three grandchildren, Oliver and Archie, and baby Isabela.
Mark J. Barons
After graduating from Northeastern University in 2011, Mark began working for Suffolk Construction, becoming the youngest lead superintendent in the company’s history. Some of the large scale projects Mark completed include laboratories for Pfizer Pharmaceutical in Boston’s Longwood Medical center, complete renovations of the Fresh Pond Research Park, a six building research campus in Cambridge, MA, 71 top-tier residences in the heart of Pasadena, California, and two city blocks of mixed-use luxury residential and commercial space in downtown San Francisco.
After five years on the west coast, Mark came back to New England to join his father constructing high end residential homes in the greater Boston area. He and wife Adriana are enjoying their first child, Isabela, born in the spring of 2018.
Mark is a licensed Construction Supervisor, LEED certified, OSHA Certified, and has been certified as a Safety Trained Construction Supervisor by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
