Barons Custom Homes was founded by Mark D. Barons over 47 years ago. A lifelong New Englander with a background in Engineering and Construction Management, Mark is recognized as one of the most sought-after residential builders in the Boston area. He has built beautiful, high-end homes throughout Boston and its surrounding communities, including historic Louisburg Square, the Boston waterfront, and the upscale western suburbs such as Lexington, Concord, Winchester, and Belmont.

Mark has lived in Lexington, MA, his entire life and has been deeply involved in the community. He has served as a Town Meeting Member, a Board Member of the Council on Aging, and has contributed to Lexington Little League, Habitat for Humanity, and numerous high school booster clubs. He has also volunteered as a coach for more than 20 years. Mark has been married to his wife, Peggy, for over 35 years, and together they have raised four children and are now enjoying their six—soon to be seven—grandchildren.

After graduating from Northeastern University in 2010, Mark began his career at Suffolk Construction, becoming the youngest lead superintendent in the company’s history. During his tenure with Suffolk, he delivered several large-scale, high-profile projects, including the Pfizer Center for Therapeutic Innovation in Boston’s Longwood Medical Area; the complete renovation of the Fresh Pond Research Park—a six-building research campus in Cambridge, MA—for BioMed Realty Trust; 71 top-tier residences in the heart of Pasadena, California for Vornado Realty Trust; and two city blocks of mixed-use luxury residential and commercial space in downtown San Francisco for Essex Property Trust.

After five years on the West Coast, Mark returned to New England to join his father in constructing high-end residential homes throughout the Greater Boston area. Mark brings a diverse construction background, a deep passion for building science, and a keen eye for design to every home he builds. His enthusiasm for continuous improvement and his meticulous standards set him apart within the industry. Mark and his wife, Adriana, are enjoying life with their two young children, Isabela and Shepherd.

Mark is a licensed Construction Supervisor, LEED certified, OSHA certified, a Board-Certified Construction Safety Professional, a Certified Green Professional, and has earned the National Association of Home Builders’ Master Builder designation—an honor reserved for the industry’s most accomplished and highly regarded professionals.

With a diverse background in art and design, Christine’s interior work has been featured by major television networks, Fortune 500 companies and residential clients all across the county.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a B.A. in Studio Art, Christine’s creative eye for quality finishes and beautiful craftsmanship has allowed her to lend her talents to a wide variety of projects - from fast-paced television production design to individual, custom home interiors.
With a gift for collaboration and wide breadth of experience, Christine’s work is easily tailored to fit any style and budget for residential, commercial and production design projects.
